Hi, I’m Dr Gemma Campbell, a NSW registered veterinarian with a special interest in animal behaviour and a formal degree in psychology. I’m passionate about the science of how animals think, learn, and experience the world—and even more passionate about helping pets and their families build healthy, happy relationships from the very beginning.
I’ve seen firsthand how early guidance can shape a pet’s entire life. Behaviour challenges are one of the most common reasons pets struggle in their homes, so I’ve made it my mission to provide support before problems arise. My approach blends veterinary knowledge, behavioural understanding, and evidence-based psychology to help puppies and kittens grow into confident, well-adjusted companions.
Every pet is an individual—with their own temperament, learning style, and needs. My classes and consultations are built on:
I believe learning should be enjoyable for both you and your pet. My goal is to help you understand not just what to teach, but why it matters and how your pet perceives the world.
Whether you’re a first-time pet owner or adding a new family member to your household, I’m here to help you start your journey with clarity, understanding, and joy.
Behaviour is at the heart of the human–animal bond. When we understand our pets’ needs—and learn to communicate in ways they understand—we set the stage for a lifetime of trust and companionship. Helping families build that connection is one of the best parts of my job.
